Trinacenci: The Creative Process
I started this newsletter to connect with my community beyond just posting finished designs on social media. I wanted a chance to share the mental blocks, the break throughs, the thought processes, and the mind-mapping behind the pieces that I make. Art and Design is more than the final product. From a childhood memory, to a lesson from our high school teacher, to a skill we learned 20 years ago: there are eons of knowledge nuggets, cultural experiences, and deep research (sometimes unintentional—thank you, doomscrolling >.<) that go into every creative work we put out into the world.
In this newsletter, I’ll be pulling back the curtain to show WHAT goes into the creative process, HOW creatives come up with designs, and WHY any of this matters in the grand puzzle of life. You’ll get a glimpse of my thought patterns, vulnerabilities and trying to overcoming imposter syndrome, uncertainties of being a creative in a world that constantly wants us to underpay and eliminate us, and how to push on and love all parts of this messy journey.
I wanted to create a space where you also feel empowered to create for the sake of creating—for the fun and the meditation and the mindfulness of it all.
